    Is Brother Francis and the Friendly Beasts a Catholic friendly book???? Does it show Catholicism in a negative or positive light?

    Hi Shari,
    We are Catholic and own this book; it is a nicely-illustrated story of St. Francis. We have a pretty large collection of picture books on St. Francis and this one fits right in.

    My kids love the one St. Francis and the Wolf.  It’s more of a tall tale, a legend, but the statue still stands in the village of Gubbio, Italy!
