Brambly Hedge

Very sweet books, adorable pictures with lots of detail, and we all loved them.  I’m an old-fashioned Anglophile, and they’re just my cup of tea.  I love cute little dressed animals, and hedgerows, and punting, and village fetes.  We were so into these books that I even made some stuffed animals of the characters, and some quilts back when a British company used to print Brambly Hedge fabric!  But if you don’t LOVE theses books like we do, you could certainly do without them.  Nothing BAD about them, but I don’t think they’re great literature or necessary for the well-educated person.  Look at them at the library before plonking down the $$$.  Best wishes, Sue
