  • Bookworm, which were the episodes of The Human Planet that had natives wearing very little, was it just women or men or both – I am lending it to my neighbor as I have it, but have not had the chance to watch it yet…she has younger ones and wanted to know. Once I get it back we will be watching….Thanks Linda

Yes, in the Deserts episode, I think any family would need to skip the Wodaabe Flirtation Festival.  The entire segment. The other Deserts segments are OK.  In Grasslands and Jungles, one part of a segment covers the Korowai, a people in Papua New Guinea who build amazing treehouses VERY high up in trees.  The segment content is OK, but the women are all topless.  Not a lot is made about this, but when a woman walks through the camera field, she has no shirt on.  So families will want to be cautious there depending upon beliefs..

Thanks Bookworm that is helpful and I will pass it on and I will view the flirtation festival myself and likely avoid it if it is like you say. Appreciate the info. Linda
