    Our family is participating in something through Sonlight, called Lost in India. It’s got weekly videos and activities. I’d like to add in some books that might give us an additional taste of the culture/life in India. I’m looking for picture books. Does anyone have ideas?

    This is more of a folktale, so I don’t know if it’s what you’re looking for: One Grain of Rice by Demi

    Not sure if this one would work:  Even Donkeys Speak by Mary McDonald is a collection of stories from the mission fields of SE Asia (mostly India).

    I do not have this book yet but plan on ordering it soon.  It is available from Gospel for Asia, one of my very favorite charities (100% of donations go into the mission field!).  Scroll to the bottom for this book.
