Books on Ancient Greece & Rome with no god or godesses?

Amanda: I definitely agree that if a child is confused or getting TOO involved, it’s best to stop the mythology aspect. My oldest is only 3 1/2, so I won’t hazard a guess as to what age is best to start introducing these concepts (though I imagine, as with most things, it depends greatly on the kid!).

9Arrows: While I think it’s amazing to see how some parts of history intersect with the Bible, I feel that even ones that are very separate (for example, pre-Columbian America or the Far East) are worth studying on their own merits. Every aspect of history, IMHO, has so many worthwhile things to teach us. 🙂
