I would like my 7 year old daughter to memorize the books of the Bible. Her new Sunday School class does sword drills and it made me realize that it would be handy for her to become familiar with where all the books of the Bible are. I remember there was a song that teaches the books. I think a song would be a fun way for her to learn them. Does anyone know a place where I could find a song that teaches them?

We have the Wee Bible Songs on cassette tape from ages ago that has the OT and NT songs on tape, 12 disicples and loads of other fun bible songs we all enjoy singing. Comes with a song lyrics book.
Do you think this is geared toward younger ones or older? My boys are just working on this and for me I just broke it down into groups of 4 or 5. Once they have those we add the next. But I have one singer and wondering if they are kiddy or more universal? thanks MIsty

Iamasahm: The ones that Tristan added are the most universal. I can even download the one song for free. I wish I could do both, I’d like to burn them to a CD so my DD could listen to them at night when she goes to sleep. It’s amazing how much she learns as she falls asleep!

For some reason, I can download the NT one, and looks like every other song will let me. The OT however, doesn’t give me the same options when I right-click on it. It’s strange. My husband is more of a techy on the computer and he couldn’t figure it out either:(
