Just curious how many of you went out and purchased the suggested picture books for the Outdoor Secrets Companion? They look like they’d be really great to own. I don’t know though, I buy so many books as it is! 🙂 I am guessing it will be around $100, maybe more, if I can find them all used. Just curious as to what others did, and trying to decide for myself! Buy or borrow…
We loved most of them but it wasnt in our budget last year to buy them. Plus we have a great library system. If you found some cheap and it was in your budget I would say go for it.
I buy, as we hope to have many children, so it simplifies trying to line up library loans every time we go through it. I bought them used, and loved every one!
I bought most of the books for 106 Days of Creation, a few I decided to either skip or substitute with similar books. I bought most of them used on Amazon for about $4 including shipping. I’ve also held off on buying ones we’ll use later on in the year…I’ll probably start picking these up after the holidays. We have 4 DC (plus one on the way), so I prefer to buy most of our books.
I looked and the ones our library had copies of I planned to borrow; several of them I found at decent prices and purchased, so it depended on the book.
