I was wondering how a person decides what is THEE best that describes Phil 4:8 because there is never an end to books
Ecc.12:9-14
And moreover, because the Preacher was wise, he still taught the people knowledge; yes, he pondered and sought out and set in order many Proverbs. The Preacher sought to find acceptable words; and what was written was upright words of truth. 11 The words of the wise are like goads, and the words of scholars are like well-driven nails, given by one Shepherd. 12 And further, my son, be admonished by these. Of making many books there is no end, and much study is wewarisome to the flesh. 13 Let us hear the conclusion of the whole matter: Fear God and keep hHis commandments, For this is man’s all. For God will bring every work into judgment, Including every secret thing, whether good or evil.
There is just so many…and I think the books should be inspirational mostly. The Lord has shown me not to go with “fantasy, science fiction, etc. books here in our family. We have really enjoyed Keepers of the Faith books that are fiction and include our Lord Jesus alot.
It is hard to find books when you are done, they leave you with that special warm message.
Does anyone have lists like that? We love “true” stories here as much as possible.
There’s only so much time that we have and they need to be Phil 4:8.
Thanks
