I am confused as to when I start a Book of Centuries. Can I began it with my 4 and 7 year old?

You can do a family one (or one that YOU do most of the work) with younger kids…  – I’m going to do (still haven’t quite) a simple timeline binder format…    Keep in mind that the concept of time on this scale is really not there until a child is about 9 or 10…  but I personally think that this helps with it.    A more individual Book of Centuries can start once they get to be about 9 or 10, although I may hold off until they are 11 or 12…. and at that point I plan to get the Book of Century here where there is a century chart, place to draw artifacts, etc…

We did one as a family.  Got to be mom doing a lot of it cause I would forget and we stopped, though the idea is great mom just didn’t implement it well.  Start as young or as old as you’d like.  There is not good age.

A random beginning tip: Put each child’s birthday in the book first. That way they have a reference point. Smile
