I am new to this group but have been homeschooling for 15 years.  I am about to write a biographical sketch on the wonderful person, Charlotte Mason.  I want to read the Story of Charlotte Mason but can only find it for $64.95 on Amazon.  I was wondering if anyone would be willing to loan me their copy.  I would be glad to pay postage both ways.  I only need it for a month.  I can also supply references is needed to vouch for my integrity.  Thanks for any help .

I don’t know what state you live in (or if you are even in the U.S.), but if you go to the Bookfinder on this site, you can bring up The Story of Charlotte Mason & click on “find it in your library.” It will list the closest libraries to you, and if there happen to be any copies available in your home state, chances are you can request it through interlibrary loan.

We are able to request books from various university libraries within our state this way, even if they are a couple hundred miles away. But then, we are blessed to live in a county with a large library system and a few really good privately-operated suburban libraries.

    HTH,

    Sue
