    Any recommendations?

    Hoping for:

    -a short book

-something good for 1st grade and up

    -suitable for a read-aloud

Napoleon was such a prominent figure in the late 18th and early 19th century, but I’m having a difficult time finding a kids’ book that tells his story.

Well, the only thing I have any knowledge of at all is Napoleon:  The Story of the Little Corporal, by Robert Burleigh.  It’s nicely done and illustrated with artwork.  In general, there just isn’t much out there, I suspect for the same reasons there are not many young children’s bios of Judas Iscariot or Adolf Hitler–he’s not a terribly positive role model for children.  Smile

    So true!

He’s such a fascinating person, nonetheless.
