I’ve already suggested all the books my voracious reader has read, so I need some new ideas. TIA, August 12, 2013 at 2:15 pm KaylaParticipantHave you looked at the ambleside online list? There has to be something he hasn’t read. I don’t know what he likes but maybe a book teaching something? I bought my husband a grafting knife and a book that teaches you how to do it. It would give him a skill and something hands on to do. Or maybe an edible plants book for your area August 12, 2013 at 2:38 pm TristanParticipantEragon seriesRedwall SeriesLord of the Rings seriesOops, baby is up, got to run! I’ll try to share more ideas later. BTW, I think that’s a wonderful “problem” to have. August 12, 2013 at 4:49 pm CarlaParticipantMy 12 year old son has loved Guardians of Ga’Hoole for quite a while. He also enjoys Redwall and Ranger’s Apprentice. August 12, 2013 at 7:14 pm AngelinaParticipantSwallows and Amazons (and all the others in the Arthur Ransome series)? August 12, 2013 at 7:54 pm 4myboysParticipantHas he read The Mysterious Benedict Society books? My 12 year old loved them (I enjoyed them a lot, too!) August 12, 2013 at 7:57 pm Doug SmithKeymasterYou should be able to find some ideas over at the Incredibooks website. August 12, 2013 at 8:12 pm MonicaParticipantMy 11YO just started The Mysterious Benedict Society today, coincidentally. Earlier this summer he read the two books in the Michael Vey series, which he loved. He’s anxiously awaiting the release of the third book next month.Viewing 10 posts - 1 through 10 (of 10 total)The topic ‘book for 11 yo boy who has already read "everything"’ is closed to new replies.
