Just wondering if anyone else is getting blasted by a blizzard today?
I’m in the Texas Panhandle, and we’ve had high winds and snow since last night. I bet we’ve gotten at least a foot of snow so far. The winds are blowing 40-50 mph. Public schools were cancelled yesterday afternoon, before the temperature even dropped! We still had school today…hehehe.
Would love to know who else is weathering the storm!
Its all swirling right around us and we’re have a nice sunny, breezy day here in central TX. Unfortunately the kiddo is sick so no getting out to enjoy the nice weather. And we could sure use the moisture here. DS will be very jealous when he hears of the snow up there. 🙂
No blizzards here…but then again I live in West Africa. 😉 We did have a pretty good thunderstorm this afternoon however (dh said they even had hail at his work, although not here at the house!)
We have sun for the first time in several months! It’s a little chilly at 30F but we’re going for a bike ride in the sunshine. We might not see it again until May! 🙂
Still sunny here, but the wind has become quite hazardous. Wish we could get some rain. But, alas, it is all going up and around where its dumping all that snow on you guys, Lindsey. We have 0% of preciitation and this blasting wind.
We’ve had plenty of that Southern Snow, we call rain! Ever seen a Cajun snow man? It is a puddle of water with a carrot in it. I don’t know how you ladies endure such fridged temps.
It finally quit snowing around 3:00 (CST). Then we bundled up and faced the wind because we were determined to sled/slide in the snow/ice mix in front of our house. We live on a hill, so going down that was fun. Then dh carved out a small snow cave for the kiddos and I went back inside. Overall, it was a great blizzard. I’m just so thankful for the moisture–whatever form it comes in!
