Has anyone gone through and place bios into the history rotation to match up with the history modules? If so, which books have you used and where did you place them?
I would love to see more biographies (especially those of missionaries and martyrs) placed into the history modules.
Well, we did Module 1 this year and I added in 2 YWAM books on Lillian Trasher (Egypt) and David Livingstone (Africa). There’s also Rowland Bingham (Africa) and Mary Slessor (Africa), but I wasn’t able to get those. We LOVE the YWAM books: http://www.ywampublishing.com/c-70-christian-heroes-then-now.aspx
The time period wasn’t right, but the geography was…if that helps.

I second the YWAM books. We also like Missionary Stories and the Millers, Bruchko, etc. I haven’t tried to match them up though. I figure it will all connect in the end.
