What would you do if you had a child that was interested in Biblical Archaelogy (high school level)? I’ve looked at online courses but and having a difficult time discerning the doctrine of those offering the classes.

    Thanks!

Not sure if this is an appropriate level… I like watching the Naked Archiologist TV show…. he researches various bible topics using achiology.

    You might check these out…

    Biblical Archaeology Society

    Answers in Genesis

    Institute for Creation Research

and Bob Cornuke with B.A.S.E – I’ve heard him speak, and it’s amazing.  This man is just, wow, annointed for this work. For some reason, the web-site, http://www.baseinstitute.org isn’t working at the moment, so this link is to a short video about Cornuke and the Institute.

Hope some of those help you find something you can useSmile

Okay, well, I was able to get to http://www.baseinstitute.org using internet explorer, just not chrome…so depending on your browser, you might be able to access it.  Good luck.

The Naked Archaeologist is Simcha Jacobovici; he’s actully not an archaeologist. He’s a Canadian free-lance journalist, producer, director and lecturer. He’s very interesting and challenges the archaeologists to delve into more obscure topics.

I recommend The A&E production of Quest of the Lost Tribes and, though I haven’t seen it yet, The Exodus Decoded is supposed to be well done.

He may find this site intersting from the BIble Archaeology Society: http://www.biblicalarchaeology.org/free-ebooks/israel-an-archaeological-journey/

This is great-The Israel Antiquities Authority:http://www.antiquities.org.il/

and the other is on our wishlist from a renowned historian:

Well, thank you, ladies. I have forwarded all these links to my daughter and we’ll see what comes of it.
