Do you have the Doorposts training for Righteousness? It has Scriptures topically. Another resource is here that I use for choosing Scripture memory based on areas of sin/weaknesses I notice in us or on the flip side; Blessings I want to pray into them which is equally or more important: http://www.crossroad.to/HisWord/verses/topics/1-index.htm
Another book recommendation from a powerful prayer Warrior in my Congregation is Praying the Scriptures for Your Children (I haven’t read it, yet; it’s on my wish list):http://www.amazon.com/Praying-Scriptures-Children-Jodie-Berndt/dp/0310232163/ref=pd_sim_b_3 and one that has helped me is the Boundaries book (can be found at library)
Also, don’t underestimate the power of worshipping and praising G-d in the formation of humilty. The more I focus on G-d in Worship, lifting him up, the more I get put in my own place. Memorizing the Psalms and practicing Praise at home facilitates this.
Tattling is a manifestation of Pride; put on love”Love suffers long and is kind; love does not envy; love does not parade itself, is not puffed up; does not behave rudely, does not seek its own, is not provoked, thinks no evil; does not rejoice in iniquity, but rejoices in the truth; bears all things, believes all things, hopes all things, endures all things. Love never fails.” 1 Corinthians 13:4-8 and Proverbs 19:11 A man’s discretion makes him slow to anger, And it is his glory to overlook a transgression.
Tongue-“Let no corrupt word proceed out of your mouth, but what is good for necessary edification, that it may impart grace to the hearers.” Ephesians 4:29 also James 1:19 This you know, my beloved brethren. But everyone must be quick to hear, slow to speak and slow to anger ; 20 for the anger of man does not achieve the righteousness of God. and Proverbs 13:3
Receiving instruction (humility, obedience)-Proverbs 4 and 5 are mostly about receiving instruction. REbellion- pray for obedience, memorize those things on obedience (ex:Eph. 6:1-3) and the consequences of rebellion.
I don’t know if you mean jelaousy for others things or jealousy that others get to do things one cannot do (that falls under rebellion then)-Jealousy is coveting in some form and there’s a specific commandment about that one! Exodus 20:17 and Praying for contentment would be appropriate —“Do not love the world or the things in the world. If anyone loves the world, the love of the Father is not in him. For all that is in the world—the lust of the flesh, the lust of the eyes, and the pride of life—is not of the Father but is of the world.” 1 John 2:15-17
Unkindness-(encourage thinking of others)-Phill. 2:3-5 is quoted around here! Keeping G-d’s COmmands-Johon14:15.
