I want to scedule a poetry tea party every second frday and a different activity on the inbetween fridays. Can we scedule things bi-weekly or does it have to be individually plunked in as a separate resourse (i.e. Poetry Tea Party with 15 divisions OR Poetry TP1 with set date, Poetry TP2 with set date, Poetry TP3 with it’s set date….)???

There isn’t any easy way to do it bi-weekly….
One thought is to schedule the resources (poetry book, whatever resource) every friday… then (possibly as a teacher resource) make a “Friday Tea Time Activity” resource… with 36 (or however many weeks you will homeschool) divisions, and for division 1 put in “poetry”, division 2 put in “whatever other activity”, division 3 put in “poetry”, etc…. so you remember which one you are doing for that week…

Yes, I would either schedule each event on its set date or create a resource that’s called Friday Fun (or something generic), give it 36 divisions (one for each Friday in the school year) called Activity, and fill in the divisions every other one with Poetry Tea Party and whatever the other activity will be. Then schedule that resource for every Friday. The first week it will read “Friday Fun Activity 1, Poetry Tea Party” and the next week it will show up as “Friday Fun Activity 2, Bungee Jumping” or whatever you put in as the alternate activity. Does that make sense?

That’s what I figured we’d have to do to schedule our bi-weekly baking day. The boys really want to bake, but I won’t even think of it myself if I don’t put it in there. I’ve never done much baking.

Thank you Suzukimom and Sonya! I can see now how to make this work. I appreciate the advice as I was a bit stumped. Prenancy brain and scheduling are not friends somedays, lol.
