Beyond the Book Report question

    To the ones who have done “Beyond the Book Report”, can this be used for more than one student or do I need to buy 2 books for each student?

    I thought level one to a class years ago. Not one student or parent, me included, liked it.  We switched to Jump In and it was much better received.

    I do think level 3 is better than the first.  However, we are halfway through level 3, and I am on the fence about it in general.

    Missceegee,

    Would you say Jump In gives the same info that Beyond the Book Report has? Is it a one year course? I’m interested in Jump In. Could you tell me more about it??

    I think Jump In is perfect for middle school   I taught my oldest and a group of about 5 others successfully with it. It’s been a few years so the sample will better serve than my memory. I also used the hs writing course listed with my oldest and the original version of Illuminating Literature successfully. I wish I had used Jump In with ds14, but we did other things.
