If you could recommend one HS planning book (including transcripts and college planning) I’d appreciate knowing.

    Thank you

I’m currently reading Setting the Records Straight by Lee Binz.  Our library had a copy, so you might try there.  It’s also on Kindle Unlimited if you subscribe to that.   So far it’s been very helpful and encouraging!

I really like Senior High: A Home Designed Formula for a different approach. She lays out the many different ways one can make up a high school credit and includes many examples and forms to help you along the way.

Most of my information came through internet searches, blogs, and advice from various friends who have been there, done that. I used a free online program to make my son’s transcript. He chose to go straight into the work force so I didn’t have deal with the college aspect though I did make sure he was prepared for college and had a nice, professional transcript.

Maybe Bookworm will chime in-she’s sent 3 boys to college so far if my memory serves me right and is a wealth of information when it comes to homeschooling through the high school years. I’ve always found her posts extremely helpful.

I have Get a Jump Start on College and like it.  I especially like that it’s geared to teens.

Thank ya’ll. I have kindle unlimited, so I just downloaded the Binz book for free. I will look at the others, too.
