I can only have one book on the Huguenot persecution and subsequent immigration to America.

What are your recommendations? I’ve seen a few historical fiction books, but would like to know ya’ll’s favorites.

It would be for ages 12 and 13, advanced readers; but I don’t want this read to be too challenging, but fairly easy.

    Thanks!

I am afraid I will not be much help, except to bump this up.

We have Strangers in the Land by Louise Vernon, it’s short and simple.  It’s likely too easy for your children.

St. Bartholomew’s Eve by Henty is pretty good.

Thank you. I had forgotten about St. Bartholemew’s Eve. I think that’s the one I’ll have them either listen to or read.
