Good morning,
I’ve been notified of a book similar to my wish on PBS that is published by Bantam Classics (Wind in the Willows). Is that a safe publisher that you all know of for unaltered originals?

Melissa, it’s hard to know for sure. I have a few Bantams floating around and I don’t remember anything really sticking out. But a trick–copy off the ISBN of the offered book at PBS, then enter that into Amazon.com Often I get enough info that way to tell me if it is abridged or not.

Thanks, Michelle. As far as I can tell on Amazon, it’s original. I saw no reference to abridgement or adaptation. I think I’ll go for it.
