    Do y’all do crafts with your kids? I have 2 boys – 6 and 3 – and they like to mess with glue and paint and scissors(yikes! 😉 but I don’t know if this kind of stuff is worthwhile. And I have no idea on a handicraft with ds6. What do all you wonderful ladies do?

    We start loom knitting around five or six years old.  A simple washcloth is a great project – our kids sent them along in their Operation Christmas Child boxes, and it was so special for them to be able to send something they made themselves. 

    With the younger ones, we let them glue/draw/paint alongside the older ones.  I love letting them draw with bingo dabbers; stamps are also very popular here.
