He is making blankets for the girls’ Barbies. They are just the right size for his attention span and need to ‘finish’ something in a short amount of time. My 6yo loves working with pastels and watercolor pencils in his sketchpad, and I’m looking forward to getting him some air-dry clay soon as well. We made yarn dolls today. You could do boy colored yarns and then add buttons/notions to make them police officers, superheroes, constructions workers, family memers, etc..
