My 7th grade daughter is a voracious artist (mainly pencil drawing and some graphic art on computer) she was taking art classes at the public school but we are not doing that this year and so I need something online for her to follow. Cheap or free is good but I will consider some expense as it is important  to her. I have Home Art Studio for 5th grade but that is as far as they go.

    Thanks!

My DH is using Drawspace.com for teaching art.  There are several free lessons or it’s a small yearly fee.

The Masterpiece Online Academy has some art classes that look pretty good and are decently priced ($35 per course, with a discount if you do 3 courses).  http://www.masterpieceonlineacademy.com/index.html We have not tried them but I could see my oldest enjoying them.

I’m an artist, have a BA in drawing and graphic design, and teach art lessons locally.  I blogged about how to get your kids to be artists here: http://suchatimeasthis.com/2015/07/09/drawing-for-kids-made-easy-7-steps-to-get-your-child-drawing/

My son  is 10 and loving art, too.
