    Is the concept and symbol for zero taught before reaching “10?” I’m not finding it in the arithmetic book or “Mathematics: An Instrument for Living Teaching.” Thank you!

    Hi Katie,

    The first meeting with zero begins on page 28 and then will be met with a few more times before the lesson on the number Ten. hth.
