I hope so, I haven’t seen her post in awhile and I’m hoping it’s because she’s snuggling a brand new baby boy. Also praying that it’s not a medical problem with Mason.
Aww, you’re too sweet. No, no congratulations yet. I’m now 1 day overdue with this boy (I have a checkup today with doc, last week I was dilated to 3cm.). And thankfully Mason’s health is great. So just trying to wait patiently for labor to begin. 🙂 This is the first time since my oldest that I’ve made it to or past my due date, the last 7 babies have all been 3 days-2 weeks before my due date. It feels weird to be so pregnant – and pretty uncomfortable.
Just thought I would update again. I had a checkup with my doc yesterday and I’m dilated to 4cm. Due to a few factors we’ll be inducing labor on Thursday if baby doesn’t come before then. (I’ve had Pitocin with every labor except Mason’s planned C-section, so this is not surprising really.) Everything looks okay, but the last baby was almost 9 lbs at a week before my due date, so I’m interested to see this baby’s size. Of course all of mine have varied, not each one bigger than the last, so maybe this will be a 7lb peanut? I still think that by the 9th baby they should just fall right out instead of needing labor and pushing…. oh well!
Tristan, I’m so glad you have a plan. I’m praying that baby comes before Thursday, but if he doesn’t, I’m praying for speedy and safe delivery with no extra measures needed.
Thanks Des, me too! So far I’ve done each labor natural other than the Pitocin (meaning, no painkillers, epidural, or other interventions). Praying this one follows the same lines. I’m also praying it is faster than my last labor – which was 31 hours.
Tobias Keegan arrived Friday evening at 6:28pm after 10.5 hours of labor (my shortest!) and weighing 9 lbs 5 oz (my biggest!). Another sweet boy and a red head. We’re home now and settling in.
