Are all the history modules being revised eventually?

Haha!  I asked that same question at a convention.  I’m sure they’ll get back to you quickly, but from what I remember, they just revised the first three because of the heavy reliance on thenow out of print book – Oxford First Ancient History.  The other three do not use that book and were completely fairly recently so there weren’t any plans for revisions in the works.

That’s right. We have our short list of little tweaks we would like to make some day, but none of them are crucial enough to do revisions at this point. We have plenty of other projects in the works first.

We plan to do three more geography notebooks next year, which will make the series of six cover the six main regions of the world. Eventually we will write all six into the history/geography/Bible lesson plans and will recommend this kind of schedule:

• Visits to Africa for Genesis through Deuteronomy & Ancient Egypt (already in the revised lesson plans)
• Visits to the Middle East for Joshua through Malachi & Ancient Greece (already in the revised lesson plans)
• Visits to Europe for Matthew through Acts & Ancient Rome (already in the revised lesson plans)
• Visits to South, Central America & Australia for Middle Ages, Renaissance, Reformation & Epistles (one of the tweaks for a future revision)
• Visits to North America for Early Modern & Epistles (one of the tweaks for a future revision)
• Visits to Asia for Modern Times & Epistles, Revelation (one of the tweaks for a future revision)

As you can see, that’s a little shuffling around from what is currently written into the lesson plans for Mod 4-6. But it should be pretty easy to simply substitute a Visits to geography notebook for the geography that is written into the plans if you want to move toward that tweaked schedule. Or you can stick with what is written for now. Your choice. Use whatever works best to make sure you cover all six regions sometime.
