I’m just starting my CM journey with my kids and we already have some books and ebooks (gifts or handovers).  I wanted to segregate the good books from the “twaddle” books and I was wondering, if a book title appears in the CM bookfinder, does that mean it conforms to the CM method or IS a living book? or was that a wrong assumption on my part? 😮
    Thanks 🙂

The books that display with a little green “CM” beside them are books that the SCM Team recommends as living/non-twaddle books. The rest of the books that others have entered may vary, depending on how well the person who entered it understands what a living book is.

I myself have had to schedule a few textbooks and items that CM may have cringed unintentionally at. These were items needed to fulfil provincial learning outcomes that we agree to meet under contract with a distance learning program we enroll with. This just gave me the idea to add a non-living book note to the discription when adding it to the CMO. Or keeping it a private resource? I would not want to lead others to twaddle , eeek.
