Apologia Science Question

    I have a question about the Apologia Science books.  We are currently half way through 106 Days and my girls love it.  Their Nature Notebooks and Science Binders are full of great stuff.  As we look to next year, I really like what I see through Apologia and I think they will too.  I am wondering though, what is the difference b/w the “Notebooking Journal” that is purchased and the “Course Notebook” which you can download?  Are they both necessary?  I will be using this with a 2nd and K.  Any help would be much appreciated and I am hoping we enjoy them as much as 106 Days.  Thank you.  L Geurink

    They are very similar, you would not use both. In fact, you don’t have to use either if you don’t want to. Personally, I would save the $$$ and use the download option.

    We went through all the Apologia elementary science books with just the downloads because the new notebooks were not available.  If I had to do it over again I wouild still choose the downloaded version…the preprinted notebooks are more convenient I imagine, but there were a few times when I had to reprint pages for my daughter to use; I don’t think the newer notebooks give you that option.
