    That is great! I think zi need to buy ” something” :). What are your favorite books from the science series? We are currently finishing up Astronomy and my kids LOVED it! We already got Anatomy for next. My children would be 3rd and 4th grade next year.

    We have done Astronomy, Botany and Flying Creatures and have loved them all. My oldest (son) liked Botany best. My middle (daughter) liked Flying Creatures! My children were in 1st & 4th grade for the Astronomy & Botany (We did both in one year!) and 2nd & 5th for the Flying Creatures. We haven’t used Apologia for the last 2 years due to budget but I think I just may pick up Land Animals for my 2nd & 5th graders for next year!

    I’m wondering if the notebooking journals are worth buying.  Does anyone use them?  Are they necessary?

    We used the Astronomy one and it was great! We actually completed almost all of it..with only a couple left out! The boys loved it and now we have a keepsake to look at!

    I also have the Human Body one that we will do in the future. It looks great! We tried to do Flying Creatures, and we just couldn’t finish it! I think it depends on the child’s interest in what you are studying! Have fun!

    My kids love the Jr Notebooks. They also love to cut, color and paste and do worksheets. They are always drawing and making things so the notebooks really fir for them. They also liked showing their dad what they learned along with telling him

    We’ve liked their notebooks, but generally don’t finish them.  I plan on only getting one for my two girls to share and having them do different activities – there’s MORE than enough for both of them, especially the pages that have room for drawing and notes.

    As an aside – the sale is a good deal, but if you don’t have the money right now, it’s really not THAT much less than what CB and Rainbow normally charge for apologia.  I never get apologia THROUGH apologia because Rainbow and CB charge so much less.

    Thanks Rebekahy!  I will only order one notebook.  I have two of my daughters will be starting next year with apologia and they are 6 & 7 and share everything anyway.  They think they are twins so it will work out perfectly.

    Baymoose – I suggest you get the Jr. Notebook, unless your girls REALLY like to write a lot – there’s more coloring in the jr. one and my older daughter always wanted my younger ones notebook when she was 7 and 8.
