Have any of you used this course? It actually looks like something some if our kids would like. Tell me why it is suggested as a 12th grade course. I’m wondering if it might follow biology and precede chemistry.
Thaks, Sonya. I’ve been looking ahead for my 12yos who enjoys science. I think he may use Apologia. His older siblings used other resources after bombing with Apologia. They’ve covered science using DVDs, lectures, reference books, living literature, coloring books, and conversations with my DH (a biologist). But, out 12yos likes self contained studies. Sigh. This will probably mean that Apologia will be a better fit for him. I’ve seen the posts by those who’ve enjoyed using some of the Apologia high school courses and weighed them against past experience and individual needs. That meant allowing it to at least come back on the radar for this particular child. ;0) Whether he uses it, or not, I’m willing to look into it. I’m not sure our youngest daughter will take this path as she enjoys learning the way her older siblings learn. But, goodness, she’s only to turn six on Saturday. ;0)
By the way, I’m so grateful for SCM! God has blessed so many through you and your awesome team and this forum!
