I thought I had first heard of this book on this forum, but can’t ever seem to find what I’m looking for when I do a search. Has anyone used this or have feedback on this?
I really struggle with nature study for some reason. For awhile we did the “walk around the neighborhood and find something to draw” thing and it gets old finding the same neighbors’ flowers, trees, etc. I’ll try to get them to tune into nature sounds, but we end up hearing lawn mowers, vehicles and other non nature sounds. During the cold months I’m terrible about getting out. They get lots of outside time, just not “nature study”. In August they’ll be in a once a month class at our local nature center.
Just curious if any have used this book and found it to be an easy resource/guide to doing more nature study.
BTW, my kids are 8, 6, 2/12 and 8 mos. Thanks!
