Anyone used COBI building bricks?

    I ran across a JM Cremps ad for COBI brand building bricks. They refer to them as “Lego-compatible,” and looking at the COBI website, it appears they are very much the same in appearance and function.

    Does anyone here have the COBI building sets for their kids? What do you think of them? We have been working on an idea for a Lego club to be held at our church, but we haven’t purchased sets of blocks (etc.) yet….the Legos can be very expensive!

    Hi Sue,

    Our boys have three sets. We haven’t noticed a real difference in quality and some of the details may be even better; i.e. a “canvas roof on the army hospital. The mini figs have noses though and that seems to crack everyone up.

    Thanks, Richele. Do you know if they will connect together okay with Lego pieces? We could possibly end up with a few donations of Legos, and I know they’ll all end up mixed in with each other at times…..

    My kids say there is no problem connecting them.
