Anyone use Sonlight LA 2?

    Hi,

    I am thinking about using this once we complete our current LA. We are using CLE LA 1 right now and while it is thorough I would like something more CM in style. The Sonlight LA looks complete as it still covers phonics instruction and incorporates spelling. My daughter reads level 1 and 2 readers pretty well but doesn’t like super long stories when she is doing the reading. 🙂

    Anyone use this? I have also looked at English for the thoughtful child. I just don’t know what would be better for my tactile learner.

    I used K (2008-2009) and then ordered 1.  There was a lot of copy work involved, too much for the age range.  I don’t know much about 2, but since there was so much copy work with 1, we stopped there.  Sonlight is really good about answering questions regarding their products.  There are also sample sheets on their website.  I wish I could be more help!
