Anyone use Pedro's Journal, I, Columbus, and/or First Voyage to America…

    I was wondering if anyone could shed some light on any or all of these. I’d like more of a “first-person” or primary source account of Columbus’ journey for my 11 and 12 yr. olds. I want more than just the trip, but want the landing and experiences on land.

    I was looking for a book I saw somewhere that used the accounts of the priest that was with him, but can’t remember his name.

    We liked Pedro’s Journal – held the kids (all ages) interest well.  Wish I could remember about the other one…we may have used it too.
