Hello,
I’ve been using MFW for the first 4 years of our homeschool. We have really loved their updated Language Lessons for Today (LLFT). I’m now moving away from MFW and will be piecing together my own curriculum plan this year with my kids (5th, 3rd, K and 3 y/o). For those familiar with LLFT, is it considered Charlotte Mason ‘enough’ or should I look at other options? (It contains a combo of gentle grammar lessons, dictation, poetry memorization, picture study, narration, oral composition, etc) Ultimately I’d like to use it along with Spelling Wisdom to flesh out our LA portion of our day with my 3rd and 5th graders. Thanks in advance!
Oh — also — for those familiar with it, how important is it to ‘finish’ the book each year? I ask because my nearly 5th grader is only about 1/3 the way through the Grade 4 book (my fault for lack of consistency) so wondering if I should continue with that in Grade 5 or buy the Grade 5 book and start fresh??
