Anyone use Expedition Earth?

    I’m curious if any of you have used Expedition Earth and how you use it along with the SCM materials.  It looks like a lot of good info, I’m just wondering how to incorporate it, or if it is too much.  The kids I would be using it with are 8 and 6.

    I used it, but with an 11yo, and I added a lot of stuff.  I just “toured” each country, adding in stuff like Hungry Planet and lots of recipes.

    I am also considering using it with my boys with a lot of beefing up.  It would be primarily for my son who turns 9 this week but his older brother will benefit from some of it also through family read alouds and some map work, I like that it’s cheap enough to buy the download and not feel like I’m wasting money if I don’t use very much of it.  A friend of mine used it for second grade (7 year old) and said it was the most fun of anything they’ve done yet.

    I know this is a old post, but I am curious as to which “Expedition Earth” was being discussed.  There is a program called “EE” by Confessions of a Homeschool Mom, and another “EE” by KnowledgeQuest.  Has anyone used the one by KnowledgeQuest?

    The Knowledge Quest one is the one I believe we were talking about; it is the one I used.
