Anyone near Virginia Beach?

We have scheduled a camping trip to VA Beach this weekend. The weather looks to be beautiful, but I’m wondering what all this rain has been doing to the beaches? Or are you even getting this downpour? The adults in the group really don’t want to go if we can’t settle on the beach for the day and bask. It’s just too far to travel if it’s going to be iffy weather-wise.
