Anyone near Leesburg VA willing to talk?

    Good morning all;

    We have a 5 year old boy, and are really leaning towards the CM method for homeschooling him. We have never home schooled before, and are VERY nervous / intimidated / …..  about it.

    We are going to the 2 day event in March, but would love to make some connections in the local area to talk to people who are using the method (especially with boys). We also are wondering if there is a co- op that is local and open to new members?

    Sorry you haven’t gotten any replies. I am not from Leesburg, but I am hoping to go to the conference in March! My oldest is a 7 year old boy, and I’d love to help any way I can.

    Hello — I’m in Leesburg! And although I attended the conference last year and have read a million books and blogs on home schooling, I’m not currently home schooling any of my children. (Long story) I home schooled my middle daughter last year for 7th grade but this year she is attending a private Christian school. However, I’m planning to home school my youngest daughter so I would be happy to chat with you and tell what I know regarding our area’s resources.
