have to laugh… my son and I just read “once, twice, thrice” today in Parables of Nature – and he was like “Thrice?!?”…  so I can picture him using it soon too!  (he’s 7)  lol.

When my little guy was three, he fell and howled, “I hurt my opposable thumb!” Statementes like that make it really hard to keep a straight and sympathetic face. Smile

LOL I couldn’t believe my ears tonight when MY 10 year old used the word “thrice” in conversation! Maybe this will become a new “it” word for 10 year olds LOL.

my favouriate in our house is still “moreover” (used correctly at age 5)!!  i think it was from pilgrams progress as well!  it’s when he starts saying, “over yonder wicket gate” that we might start getting odd reactions from people!!

Our nine year old daughter likes to use the word “shan’t” (not in a rebellious way though)!
