I finally came up my chores chart.  Please give me suggestion.

    Morning Chores: M, W, Fri (my 5 yro) M, W, Fri (7.5 yro)

Empty dishwasher, put dishes into dishwasher Set upi table for breakfast, clean table after breakfast

Afternoon Chores: set up table for lunch  set up table for lunch

Evening chores: Put dirty dishes into dishwasher  Vacuum dinning room

Tu, Thr, Sat: they switch the jobs.

Those are individual job, they get one ticket per job.

I set up the ticket chart, which they could trade it with some special activities with certain amount of tickets.  Activities include play date with friends, get up 30 mintues late one morning, etc.

Sunday, they also need to do chores but with no ticket earn because it is a good and faithful servant Sunday.

Family chores: no ticket earn.  Prepare meals, clean bathroom, tidy bedrooms.

Thanks for your time reading it!

I like your ideas, but I would make one suggestion. You might want to have them keep the same chores for a week at a time instead of switching every other day. At their ages, you will be training them to do these chores (especially if this is new to them), so you might want to give them a chance to improve so they can meet your expectations. Plus, having routines (repetition) for a time helps to build habits, and part of doing chores is so you learn how to do things that are “life skills” (making meals, cleaning up after meals, laundry) quickly, thoroughly, and efficiently. That will benefit them later in life.

Thanks Sue.  Actually, they have been doing those chores for a year!!!  I just didn’t like how I have to drag them everyday and not doing their best job!  So, after about 4-6 weeks, (once they build up good attitudes), I will add new chores, and I like your idea on building new one.
