Another Organizer question : )

    I am seriously considering using the organizer.  I need to know if I can add directions “notes” for the whole year.  Or if I have to do it daily.  I would like to be able to go through our science book and leave notes for what they need to gather for an experiment or if I want them to skip something etc.  I prefer doing it in the summer so I don’t need to worry about it during the school year.

    Also, I’m wondering if anyone worries about having their computer crash and not having access to the organizer?

    You have to do it daily. However, you can do it the day before by using the the “See tomorrow’s Plan” link. I think this is on the wish list.

    I don’t worry about computer crashes because it is internet based.

    The CM Organizer is actually safer than if you used software on your own computer. Since it’s an online service, if your computer isn’t working you can still log into your account from a friend’s computer or a shared computer at the library.

    We make automatic nightly backups that are kept in different parts of the country, etc. So we can easily recover if we ever have a problem on our end. (See our article Are my school records safe in the CM Organizer? for more details.)
