I notice that America: The Last Best Hope Vol. II and III are on the resource list for Module 6. I don’t see either of them scheduled in the sample given for term 1. Are both of these books read completely in terms 2 and 3? Or does the guide only schedule portions of these two books?
Both are read completely in Terms 2 and 3, because Vol. II begins chronologically in Term 2’s events.

Thanks for letting my know Sonya. I keep coming back to Module 6 for my high schooler. I think she would really like it. 🙂 Just one more question…about how many pages per week does that break down to for reading in history then at the high school level?
Looks like a close estimate would be about 65 pages/week of American History and about 45 pages/week of World History. Some of those pages are word-heavy, others are pretty light. But those figures would be the ballpark averages.

Hmmm…so it looks like it averages out to be around 22 pages per day, 5 days a week just for the history reading. There are other history readings scheduled as well though too besides Bennett’s book, right? I’m trying to get a picture of how this would look like time wise in a schedule.
