Another math game question

So, my 8yo is having trouble cementing addition/subtraction facts as well so I was thinking of purchasing the Right Start math game book and cards (with Abacus).   Can anyone tell me if it is worth purchasing even though we do not use the Right Start program??  Or should I just purchase the Abacus and use the suggested card math games from MUS’s site and from other sources??

I think he could really benefit from an Abacus so I was definitely going to purchase that, but if I don’t need the extra card game supplies I’d rather spend my money on something else.

I love the UNO suggestion as my husband plays with the boys almost every night.  I will be suggesting that to him asap.
