We’re using the audio version of Ancient Egypt and Her Neighbors. I just realized that there are no chapter divisions. I guess the best way to handle this is to make a note of where the previous chapter ended, but in the meantime, I’m stuck either listening to the chapters we already heard until I find where we left off or “paging through” using fast forward. Ugh. Before I do all that, does anyone happen to have the chapter divisions already written down? Thanks!
Just a little while ago, we switched our audiobooks from mp3 format, which doesn’t support chapter markers, to AAC format which does. If you’ve previously purchased any of our audiobooks, you can go into your account and redownload it to get the new version with chapters. Then when you play the audiobook in iTunes (or another player that supports chapter markers), you can jump to each chapter.
Sorry to resurrect an old topic, but I’m having trouble with this. I’m playing the m4a version of the audiobook in iTunes, and I can’t find the chapter divisions. Where do I look? Thanks.
With the audiobook playing on a computer, there should be a menu in the iTunes menubar called Chapters. When you click that menu, you should see a list of all of the book’s chapters so you can jump those.
