Analytical Grammar

    I’ve been using AG with my 7th grader. Its going great and I plan to use it with my younger children also.

    Since the program teaches grammar to the student beginning in 6th or 7th grade and as though they have NEVER had any grammar instruction up to this point, do you think it necessary then to teach grammar to my younger chilren before they begin AG in 6th or 7th grade?

    Whew. I hope that made sense. Please do not check my grammar on that sentence. 🙂

    We like to do gentle exercises that deal with words and proper usage and stuff like that, but I don’t worry about parts of speech until we do JAG or AG.
