An Old Poem for Parents of Preschoolers

Who says the old-fashioned poets were too romantic and not practical? We just found a bargain at Borders Books, a copy of The Illustrated Library of World Poetry for $4.99. (Look in the store’s bargain section.)

In it is this little gem called “To My Infant Son” by Thomas Hood. (This link is to an online copy at Google Books in an old reader.) We got a great chuckle out of it. Enjoy!
