American / World History

    I am finding that I am not liking switching back and forth between American and World History. It totally disrupts the flow of things. I really thought I would like it and was looking forward to it. But it is causing my brain frustration. Are there negatives of studying the American history one semester and the World history lessons the second semester?

    That’s essentially what we’re doing with our two streams of history (three streams if you count our Jewish History resources)

    We’re studying Ancient His. for 20 weeks, then from Explorers to about Jamestown or so, for another 20 weeks.

    Last year I tried two days a week for each stream and I didn’t like it.

    We did one per term last year and it worked very well. We just started yesterday, but I’m thinking we might do that again in the future.
