    I attended this school’s internship several months ago and gained so much insight and knowledge that I still refer to. I thought you ladies would enjoy the recent videos about the CM method told from Bill St. Cyr, the head of the Ambleside Schools International. And FYI, his wife, Mary Ellen, co-authored the book When Children Love to Learn by Elaine Cooper.

    Ooohhh, thank you! But, the cost… Will have to see if this can fit in the budget. Time to start saving.

    Yes, it is pricey. However, I glean so much from these types of things. I’ve been to LER in MN once (good deal), I’ve heard Sonya from SCM in person twice, once when I brought her to our area for a two day seminar (excellent deal). It’s worth it for me, my kids and the CM co-op I lead.

    It is a true blessing to be able to go to this one! My husband agreed to count it as our family vacation money, and it was worth it to me.

    I have a little dream that maybe one day I’d like to be a part of a school like this. Teaching there or maybe even my children training to teach at one! 🙂 It’s a beautiful way to look at education.

    Christie, are you attending the internship at the school in Florida?

    My husband and I are talking about my going to the internship at Ambleside Fredericksburg in April. We were both a little shocked at the price, but looking at it from an investment point of view, I can totally see how that’s a pretty small investment that could potentially have a great return. I’ve watched the first 4 of these videos today. So glad you shared the link!

    Oh, I’m not sure Christie if the Ocala school actually does an internship or not. That’s why I asked you. 🙂 It may be in Texas only, and possibly at the Virginia location. Sorry for the confusion.

    Mind if I jump in here, ladies? I am glad I saw this post. It was a reminder to me, too. I have been wanting to attend for a little while now. Hopefully April will work out. I am planning on the TX one, too. Would be nice to meet you both.
