  • I was thinking on trying this for a few grocery staples. Anyone here a member? And if so, how do you like it? I would think it would be big timesaver, something us homeschool moms could always use! 🙂

    Thanks!

I use it frequently for grocery items like pasta and stuff. It can be a great deal if you do the math. Don’t feel like you need to keep it. Once the order is placed you can cancel as well as send yourself an extra shipment or delay shipments. it is very handy to havehave a huge box of pasta show up at your door! They also have a great selection of gluten free. On a side note I just received 120 rolls of toilet paper from Staples of all places! It was 75% off, free shipping, went through ebates, and got rewards as well!

I buy prenatal vitamins and diapers for a great price this way. The grocery items I’ve looked at weren’t a great savings, but they could be for you! It’s easy to change or cancel your subscription.

What is this?  I’ve never heard of it.  And Amazon’s homepage doesn’t show anything about it?

I have used it when a great deal comes up, but usually cancel future subscriptions unless the price stays low.  The only things I have on actual subscriptions that I’ve kept are maple syrup and a few teas.  I used to get toothpaste and laundry detergent this way too but those are no longer on subscribe and save.

There are a couple of blogs I subscribe to that let you know when there is a deal worth looking at.  They are savingnaturally.com and moneysavingmom.com.  They is some overlap as they do post the same deals sometimes, but other times not.

Chiming in late on this, but if you need GF, DF, or other allergy-free foods, this is one of the places that has the best prices.  We get several of the GF grains and a couple of flours this way.  Also there is a very good agave nectar deal on here – at least for my neck of the woods.  You have to calculate it out to make sure you’re getting a good deal.  There are several things that I checked, and found that I can buy at vitacost at a better value and I don’t have to buy a case to get it at the better price.  But, there are several items that are worth it.
